Whistling Elk offers 4100 acres of beautiful forested mountain land with meadows, trails, mountain roads, and 5 fishing ponds to explore. Our accommodations range from simple campsites or rental cabins to a Luxurious Lodge complete with commercial kitchen.

Camp Fires
Due to the extreme fire danger, fires may only be built in already established fire-rings. Zero tolerance and Federal fines for any violations.
Pets
Dogs are allowed with proof of current vaccinations and a signed liability release form. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times.
THINGS TO BRING!
• Food including condiments: salt/pepper, sugar, cooking oil, etc.
• Bug spray and sunscreen.
• Towels and swimsuits for the hot tub or ponds.
• Sleeping bags. Bedding is supplied HOWEVER you may need more, or want your own Blankee or Pillow!!
• Mud/snow boots, warm clothes, gloves, jackets, etc. (temp. will ALWAYS vary at this altitude)
Worth Mentioning
Due to the relaxing and natural beauty of the ranch, we do not allow ATV's or dirt bikes. Off-road trails are available within 10 miles of the ranch. |

- Three Cozy Cabins, two bedroom (2 singles per room), sleeper sofa in living room, full kitchen, full bath.
- Mountain Lodge, main meeting room, large commercial kitchen, powder room, laundry room, two master suites with private baths (queen beds),bunk room, 2 singles.
- Haskins Cabin, remote cabin, sleeping loft, fire pit, outhouse, lantern lighting, great deck views, secluded. No power or water.
- Aspen Cabin, remote large log cabin, bunk room with 6 beds (sometimes has bats in the attic), electric, propane, full bathroom/shower, new roof!
- Bittner Cabin - no power, no water, two bunk-beds, close to public toilet and sink (cold water only) located at headquarters next to the lodge.
